A most fortunate surprise: someone has published the contextual extracts from the marvelous historical role playing game Versailles: complot à la cour du roi Soleil (1995) on Youtube. Emulating this game on current computers almost never works. Yet, this extract illustrates the level of excellence achieved in this game, coproduced by the Réunion des musées nationaux and one of my favourite pastimes twenty years ago.
